VoiceSense, a PDA for blind people from GW Micro

pda blind people voicesenseGWMicro, an Indiana based company has developed a new sort of PDA, specially designed for blind people. The name of this new PDA is VoiceSense.

It runs a modified version of Windows CE, has a vocal guidance system, web browser, MP3 player, Daisy talking book, FM radio tuner, MSN Messenger. All these are available through it's Perkins style Braille keyboard.

VoiceSense runs a 540 MHz PXA270 processor, 1GB RAM, USB 2.0, SD and CF card support.It also runs for 12h on one single charge and it costs around $1895.
