Thoughts about how to make this site stand in a difficult industry

I think everyday how should I develop this site further. I could make out of it a site providing rugged laptops reviews or something similar. Or maybe news about this industry. Maybe articles? Or maybe all of them in one place. The niche is good but hard to put a site there where it should be.

I am struggling to make it go up in Google but it is a tough fight, not easy to reach there with this site. I think that I will need to use an other strategy for it: direct marketing, to count on user's viral promotion. Let people speak and tell the others about MagicLaptop.com and about what it brings!

I would like to build a community for it but it requires some good traffic in the beginning. Forums would not be a good choice at this moment since we are fighting for traffic yet. I think the best thing it could happen would be to have a good indexing on Google, at least to get search traffic and we'll see for the rest.
