Ports that are not that used anymore on laptops and that will probably become outdated soon

When I speak like this I think about ports such as serial port, parallel port, and why not, soon, PS2 port.

Parable port was heavily used for connecting the printer and it is still used. Serial port was used to connect devices such as the mouse or modems, etc.

Now, a lot of external devices are connected by USB and the ports I listed above will soon become outdated.

Even the PS2 port is now common and it will probably become outdated too soon, leaving room for USB connections.

Don't worry that much about these ports, if you have USB ports a they will take over for them and you will be surprised to find all those devices that you used to connect through above listed ports in USB version now.
