Rugged Mini Fanless is an Industrial strength mobile computer developed by Tangent Inc. “It can withstand shock, dust, vibration, humidity, extreme cold and heat, and even electro magnetic interference. The Rugged Mini is at home in industrial, manufacturing, mobile, and construction applications.” Says Tangent's President.

Rugged Mini Fanless is shipped in a rugged case, with Intel® Celeron® M, Core Solo, or Core Duo processor, high speed memory and storage. It looks really cool, has a slick design and does not weight much, less than 4 lb. Also, Rugged Mini Fanless comes as an industrial, solid state version, with Compact Flash instead of hard disk, with no moving parts.

Rugged Mini Fanless provides great energy saving options, consuming only 6 Watts in standby, 24 in the "on" position but idle and 44 in full process. The price is $1195 and it comes with Microsoft Windows XP Pro.
