The rugged case is built of polycarbonate/ABS and rubber for drop protection. It also has a rigid screen cover for protecting the LCD, screen cover that flips for allowing the user interact with the screen. Also, the rugged case allow you to use the camera with the case on, as well as the headphones. The acoustic is very good due to Donaldson acoustic vents.

An other great thing about OtterBox 1921 rugged case is the fact that the user can operate the IR with the case on.
