As I was saying the other day, I am happy with how things are going about rugged laptops. I mean things are changing. I was scanning Google News about something hot related to this topic and I saw that Rugged Notebooks, Inc, owner of Rugged Notebooks Blog launched a niche forum. Well, I can only say that this is great! Really!

Rugged notebooks market needs to grow, and fast

They have done one of the best thing they could have done. It is a good thing that they try to build an online community. I realize that they started an aggressive campaign of online marketing and nowadays this is the thing to do. Any physical market should start right away to find the similar online market since the possibilities are astonishing. Rugged laptops were not that well represented online, but we all try to do our best to change that, aren't we, people?

There are a lot of gadget related sites, they present iPhone, iPods, phones, geeky things, ok, it works, but all these fade when it comes to work in an industrial environment or somewhere where you would need us and rugged laptops. That is why we also need to expand the online market of industrial mobile computers.

So I ask you all to contribute! I have no interest in the rugged notebooks forum, other than promoting the industry. Let's help! This is the internet all about! People creating communities. People contributing!
