Leonardo Da Vinci notebook

Did you know Leonardo Da Vinci had a notebook?

What do you know?! Have you ever thought about this? Have you ever thought about Leonardo Da Vinci notebook? Well, let me tell you: he had! Yep! Leonardo Da Vinci's notebook was called Codex Arundel. It is a joke actually. Leonardo Da Vinci's notebook was not what we call today a notebook, but a volume of notes. I found this by mistake and I was reading the article and I didn't figure it out right from the start. But however, Leonardo Da Vinci's notebook was a cool bait, isn't it?

Now, what did Leonardo Da Vinci's notebook actually contained?

Well, Leonardo Da Vinci notebook actually contained all the drawings he made. Actually this notebook of Leonardo Da Vinci was not in the known form until Leonardo died. It was put up after his death from his loose papers of various types and sizes.

The strange thing about Leonardo Da Vinci notebook is the way it was written, in mirror writing, from right to left, with his left hand. Well, now this is a great encryption system, wasn't it? That is why Leonardo Da Vinci's notebook was really hard to read. You had to know how was it written and what to do to de-encrypt it.

Leonardo Da Vinci notebook was given to the British Museum and then to the British Library and is considered to be a great value of the humanity.

I know this had nothing to do with the notebooks we know or with the laptops or with any other type of computer but I posted this due to the fact that Leonardo Da Vinci was a great thinker, a great engineer for his time and a great artist at the same time, which is not an easy thing, at leat not at the same time.

It all started with that joke on Leonardo Da Vinci notebook, a practical joke that myself believed at one point. To be honest I thought it was about some kind of old numeric aparatus or something like this but no, Leonardo Da Vinci notebook is far more important and interesting...
