I am happy about how rugged laptops are going

I am watching this market of rugged laptops since a while and I can tell you that things happen. One in a while, some big producer come up with some cool new rugged laptop that shakes a bit this IT world. Sometimes it happens that more manufacturers launch on the market similar products at the same time, I actually wonder how come...

Of course, there are moments when nothing happen. I watch the news and nobody really do anything worthing writing about. These are quiet moments that I don't really like. I like writing about rugged laptops and I like the fact that manufacturers fight over supremacy, it means we have competition, progress, we have a living market.

It is also interesting to watch markets adjacent to rugged laptops, such as industrial PDAs, tablet PCs, rugged phones or measuring equipment, etc. This is also an interesting market that is worth writing about. This is the reason I write about it also.

I like the fact that rugged laptops started to be trendy and cool. Manufacturers observed the trend and align their products to IT fashion styles. Rugged notebooks don't look anymore like industrial robots. No way, they look like business gadgets that fit well a suit dressed owner. That is also due to the fact that more and more business persons use rugged laptops due to the need of intensive traveling. So they had to fashion the computers a bit in order to get sales.

Well, overall, I love it. Rugged laptops tend to be a great market that moves well. For the moment we don't have that many manufacturers, but I think the industry goes well and people have where to look for good computers. In the future we hope for the best, or at least I hope for the best.
